“Because of the current challenges presented by staff shortages due to illness, many practices are under pressure to cover already heavy workloads with depleted staff numbers,” said Gerrard Harkins, Premier Vet Alliance’s Commercial Director. “With this in mind, and following requests from a number of people, we have moved our webinars to the evenings so practice staff don’t have to break-off from their daily work.”

Vet and clinical supervision advocate, Sian Tranter, will host the forthcoming webinar in the series ‘Using Clinical Supervision – Looking After Our Team’

Through her company VetReflect, Sian provides support, guidance and direction to veterinary staff to resolve issues in their day-to-day working life whether big or small, clinical or non-clinical.  Her company was founded after the challenges she faced personally when returning to her role as a vet following maternity leave when her job satisfaction and confidence waned; and the realisation that there was a lack of support available to her.

Sian will be joined by Steve Bailey from Space Coaching Services to canvass his views on the importance of caring for colleagues.  Steve supports teams and individuals with mentoring-based techniques and solutions to support their development.

The webinars are free-of-charge and available to veterinary clinics across the UK and the US, including those not affilated to Premer Vet Alliance
