Name: Luke Drury

Job title: Client Services Administrator

When did you join the company?: August 2021

Career background before joining PVA: I worked in various retail positions such as customer service assistant, team leader and store merchandiser

Details of your role with PVA: I answer calls and emails from clients, whether that be practices or pet owners and assist them with their pet plans.  I also look after some digital marketing, specialising in social media and client communications.

The best thing about your job: The people and the flexibility.

What are your hobbies/interests?: Scuba/Skydiving, Rugby. I like being outside for the most part.

Where’s the best place you’ve ever visited?: Trogir, Croatia. It’s an old, old city, but full of awesome bars and restaurants, great music too.

Tell us something surprising about you: I have an Australian Citizenship, never actually been, but it’s on the list!

If you could choose any three dinner guests who would they be?: I think ancestors are always an interesting choice.  Hearing the decisions my family have made that have led to me being here would be one hell of a conversation!

What is your greatest achievement?: Having recently completed my first solo skydive.  Lots of fun, but when you are up there, it’s hard to find a reason to throw yourself out of a perfectly good plane!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?: When I was little I wanted to be a chef.  The only thing Gordon Ramsey is missing is a northern accent!

You are allowed to take one item to your desert island, what would it be?: Gotta be your phone right? You’ve got books, films, contact, can use its signal for help, torch, it does it all for a bit, until the battery goes flat!  I’m going with my phone, well maybe not my phone, a better phone.

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you’d spend your money on?: Pretty boring but probably some property in and around Europe, need to get me a holiday home or two!
